We have a superb group of volunteers at the Centre who help us enormously by giving their time and we would like to recruit a few more.

The Children’s Centre will be holding free activity mornings at St. Margaret’s Hall from 9.30-11.30am for children aged 0-8. There is no need to book but just come along and join in the fun!
Wednesday, 28th July – Bugs Bonanza (run by Family Learning)
Wednesday, 4th August – Fire! (with a fire engine attending)
Wednesday, 11th August – Making Music (Scrapstore shop attending)
Wednesday, 18th August – Story Time (including Scrapstore activities)
Wednesday, 25th August – Teddy Bear’s Picnic (don’t forget to bring your teddy!).

Free – First Aid for Parents of 0-5s
These sessions are held at the Bradford on Avon Sure Start Children’s Centre. They do not give you a first aid qualification but will address your worries and concerns about illnesses and accidents and how to deal with first aid situations within your own family. Courses are currently available on a first come, first served basis on the following dates:
Saturday 4th September – 10am-12 noon
Thursday 9th September 10am – 12 noon – with creche available
Thursday 9th September 7pm-9pm
